Oi! Moony. Sorry I'm late. But I brought you something to eat.

He was actually having a bit of a nap as James barged in, and the smell of food starts to wake him before James' voice finishes the job. He groans, shifting to sit up against the mound of pillows behind him again. Every part of him aches at the movement.]
Hey, Prongs. S'alright. You didn't have to. [He rubs at his eyes tiredly, making the standard protests. His stomach disagrees; food is absolutely a necessary tribute for anyone wishing to enjoy his company right now.]

[James rolls his eyes when his friend's stomach growls and hands over the bag he's carrying. Here. Eat. Be merry. Look a little bit less like death warmed over. There's nothing he can do about how hard the transformation affects Remus. He can change into a stag, and he can run the forest with him (or he did, they haven't done it in over a year thanks to the curfew) and he can bring all the food he wants-- but he can't stop it. So sometimes he overcompensates.]
Pads leave already?

Once he's piled half of it onto his plate, he pushes the rest of it towards James. Don't make him eat alone, he'll feel guilty.]
He left when I fell asleep earlier, I think. [Which is fine. Remus doesn't expect him to stay, he's boring enough company the day after the full moon when he's conscious. Of course Padfoot would leave soon after he drifted off.]
