Who: Slytherin & Hufflepuff
What: A reunion.
Where: Ministry, for now.
When: Backdated to Sept 4, 1980
Warnings: TBA.
Slytherin's arrival at the Ministry has caused some buzz and excitement to quickly spread out, that Slytherin has had inkling that the same would occur should one of the his other colleagues arrive at the gates and announce their presence. He's read a few books regarding the school and its founders — including the most illustrious Hogwarts: A History — and knows of the things that has yet come to pass in his time. Not that he is surprised by any of them; the fights between him and Godric have only started to take a turn for the worst. That he would think of leave the school, after years of hard work placed into it is not improbable.
All the same, he wants to be ready for the inevitable. He'd spoken to a low-level ministry official working in the registration department, won her over with his wit and fair compliments, and she promised to sent him a quick word should a founder arrive at the Ministry.
And one did.
So he is back in the heart of British wizarding bureaucracy, waiting for one Helga Hufflepuff to finish registration. At the very least, he figures that she will not hex him on sight (though he is ready for that, too).

Finally, though, the registration process is complete, and Helga bids the Ministry official good day and turns to leave, only to stop short when she spies a familiar face waiting in the crowd. A grin splits across her face to see her friend, and she calls out, "Salazar!" and rushes to his side.
"So you've become displaced as well! How curious."

However, it perhaps says a lot to the many eyes watching them that he kisses her hand instead of turning her away — they are still at a point in time where he hasn't left to pursue his own agenda, and he still feels profound respect for his colleagues.
"Helga," he greets her, and he might not be the warmest of receptions, but he tries a little. "At the moment, it seems to be only you and me. I was informed that you arrived, so I came as quickly as I could. Has everything been taken cared of?"
