BRAELYNE POTLUCK OPEN MINGLE
The Loop is a warm and inviting inn and pub whose main floor has been cleared out for the day (and evening) for the welcoming potluck. The windows are open despite the rain but the only thing they let in is the cool breeze - the frames are charmed to not let any water in. The inn itself is brightly lit with lamps and fairy lights (real pixies!) strung about to create atmosphere. There are tables heavily-laden with food (feel free to bring something of your own!), and stations set up giving out clothing and other necessities that any of the time deviants may need.
The actual pub area of the building is still set up as it always is, so those old enough to imbibe may do so if they please - alcohol isn't free of course, but with the potluck and all the helpful amenities provided, who can really complain?
There will be people mingling all day, in and out, time deviant and not. It's time to get things you may need, meet new people, and spend time with ones you know while eating good food and staying out of the rain.

Lucius Malfoy.
And Lucius is well aware that his habits lately have probably not put him in a positive life. Time to play the good boy for a few hours.
The house elves had produced a chocolate cake that he'd immediately put aside for medicinal purposes later, and then produced some sort of...pie. He's sure it has meat in it of some kind and he's sure it's fine for this group. He's not planning to eat it, at least, and his cup only holds tea, probably to the surprise of everyone.

Which is how he ends up at the potluck.
In general, Credence vastly prefers not to be around large groups of people. It's not good for him or the Obscurus to be in unfamiliar situations, but he's also aware that the fastest way to get people to maybe explain some trivial things to him about magic is to . . . talk to them, as unappealing as that sounds. One can only learn so much from books, despite what his Ma always used to say about the Bible being the only thing anyone needs, and Credence isn't in the habit of asking questions but he's fairly sure that's about the only way to get some of these things cleared up.
Like, how do owls deliver mail? He's been stuck on that one, lately, and none of the books in the shop seem to have any real explanation for it.
So he's there, at the potluck. Mainly he seems to be looking over the clothes, faintly horrified at the changes in fashion, and at the food table . . . only eating desserts. Since he's learned he doesn't exactly have to eat food to survive, he's taken to eating whatever's sweetest. Sugar is a sign of decadence, which is a sign of gluttony, which is a sin but Ma can't see him and he's already here being a wizard (apparently) so he's going to eat whatever he wants and at the moment that's anything and everything he wouldn't have been allowed to eat back home.
