waaaay backdated to Nov 1

Who: Sirius Black, the Marauders, whoever else wants in.
What: It is the birthday of one Mssr. Padfoot. Shenanigans will ensue.
Where: Probably around. Generally the Dog House, or the Leaky Cauldron
When: November 3
Warning: It's Sirius' birthday. There will probably be lots of shenanigans.
Status: Incomplete

It's not every day Sirius Black turns twenty-one. Sure, seventeen is more of a big deal in their world, but twenty-one? Still fairly important. He expects the best from his friends, but then again, he always does. (Part of the trouble of being born a Black, you see, one gets used to expensive tastes and gifts.) It's not all celebration all day, however. He's up early to do a bit of work on his motorbike, mainly tuning her up, and then off to hunt for more jobs or attempt to charm his way into working at the Ministry.

Later, however, he can be found at the Leaky Cauldron, cheerily awaiting the arrival of his friends. He's sent out a MIAVI earlier, so if you were one of the lucky ones to receive it, please join him. He awaits presents and drunken shenanigans, and judging by past Marauder parties, there will likely be a lot of those in store.

When Remus arrives, he looks a little worse for wear. It's the day before the full moon, after all, but he won't let that stop him from enjoying birthday festivities. In theory. He falls heavily into a chair at the table Sirius is waiting at, trying to decide whether his stomach would allow for the kind of food the Leaky Cauldron serves or not. Probably not. Definitely not. He's not very hungry anyway.

"Happy Birthday, Sirius." He nods to the birthday boy himself, smiling a little. Hopefully by now Sirius has learned to lower his gift expectations significantly when it comes to one Remus Lupin. He certainly can't manage anything grand or expensive. "I almost dread to ask what you have planned for tonight."
