malificence: (most curious)

They might be slightly less drunk, but still wasted enough that, Lucius thinks as he fumbles with pound notes enough to buy the chocolate, alcohol and cheese that he doesn't intend the Muggle to actually eat, any bored late night worker probably thinks they're just drunk and strange. Perhaps they are, by normal people's standards. He hands Draco the bags; solicitude only goes so far, even in the service of luring a man to his death, and he indicates the man ought to go in front with a sweeping motion of his hand as Bella glomps onto his side. It's not until they're near the exit that he actually speaks, though, and only after finally leaning down to kiss Bella on her brightly smiling mouth. He imagines they look cute. Probably.

"We know a good pub, but it's a bit far. If you want to stay close by..." The trail off seems to indicate they'd be amenable. What it really indicates is they'll have to come up with an alternate plan for delivery to Bella's wonderfully distant Black estate.
